I'm thinking possibly buggy or carriage wrench although I'm not sure. I'm thinking someone on Collectors weekly will have some information about it. If there was any identifying Mark's they are rusted off.
I got one of these tools with my McCormick Deering model M grain drill. The square part is for turning the drive shafts manually to check for proper operation. The hook is used to remove the reducers from the double run seed meters. The reducers fit into the meters to restrict flow to double the amount available seeding rates. This drill was produced in the 1920's.
Thanks, that makes sense since I bought it at at estate sale on an old farm. The family was in the same house for over 75 years.
