I recently won this on an ebay auction. I bid on it because i really like how graphic and colorful it is. It has written in the lower left 'copyright symbol 1929 King Features Syndicate Inc.' and in the lower right: 'AAA Sign Co. Cottsville, Ohio'. It's made of tin which is thicker than i would have thought.

The company went out of business in the 1990s. It is Coitsville, OH. I was a big Popeye fan.

If you had the actual bottle of this soda, you would have one of the holy grails of old soda bottles. Major discussion about this bottle among bottle collectors. No bottle is known to exist. Great sign!
