I found this today. It is a woodcarving of, I believe two faces. I like it, but also it's a little creepy. Take notice of the teeth on the right hand side. It has a signature on back. I don't know whether they are Y's or J's. If anyone can give me a little information, I would truly appreciate it. * After studying it a little further, I think I see a bear claw.
Maybe Janus, God of beginnings?

Dav, I found the articles so interesting. This very well may be "Janus", thank you so much! Thanks for the love Aura, Newfld, Blunder, Anything, Ho2Cult, Vetraio, Fortapache, Kwqd, and Vynil.
Whatever it is, it's really cool! It looks almost like it could be a werewolf? The first time I didn't notice the 2 paws with claws and the hound like nose..
Dav, it's almost like a story. There is a man, a bear and a dog. The back end looks like the snout of a dog. The bear attacked and wounded the man's face and the hollowness of the snout; he may have killed the dog. The whole image seems painful.
