    Here's an interesting piece. It's a water melon slicer that functions like an apple slicer. It is about 12" across the 11 slicer blades. I never saw anything like it before. We must buy a water melon to try it out.
    It looks like you might have to apply a considerable amount of pressure to get it to slice, we'll see...
    If it works, it will be a handy summer tool.

      If you have never used one let me give you a tip. It IS NOT intended to do the entire melon. You slice off a piece an inch or so thick then use this. It is for making party type bits of watermelon. I have seen people assume it does the entire melon and they ended up hurt and the melon survived. It was a fad years ago. Not sure if they still sell them or not.
