    Mostly purple, with red and a little bit of other colors mixed in. 30" x 40", paint (oil?) on canvas, unframed. Signed "Wilcox '02". This would be considered "abstract", would it not? I'm nobody's art critic, and I know next to nothing about any such things. I haven't the slightest clue who "Wilcox" is, and haven't even bothered to google around (yet?) for that. I am not under any impression whatsoever that this is "valuable".

    THERE, them's the facts...

    Anyway. When I visited the Re-Store yesterday for all those other things I didn't really need, I glanced at this painting leaning up against the wall in the stacks of pictures and stuff. Thought to myself "gee, that's certainly purple" and went on without even looking at its price. Then today, having not forgotten about it and being in the area again anyway, I stopped there again to look closer and see how much they did want for it...a little too much but it was 25% off day, so the d*mn thing followed me home...

    I *think* I kinda like it, and I *think* I have a wall I can hang it on...purple and red are sorta 'theme colors' thru my house, so that part's OK . . .

    What say ye, fellow friends, collectors, and people that really *do* know things about art...???

    ***********EDIT, the next day************
    I just changed out pic #1, now showing it outside in full sunlight. #2 remains outside in overcast light.

      THANKS so very much to Watchsearcher and LazyBoy for your comments! (and for not telling me I have no 'taste' whatsoever...?? <lol>) More THANKS to Newfld, mikelv85, vetraio50, jscott0363, dav2no1, Watchsearcher, fortapache, Brunswick, kwqd, and LazyBoy for leaving your <love it>s!! :-) :-) :-)

      I just changed out the first pic, it now shows this thing outside in full daylight sun.

      And after nearly 24hrs I'm still kinda liking it, so maybe it was worth the ~$10?
      <lol>
