Lunar Expedition

I was a 60's kid. One of my favorite toys was this. Don't know whatever happened to it. Since the late 1990's I searched high and low on the internet trying to find a replacement. Couldn't recall the name of it so that made it difficult. Then one day, about 6 years ago I stumbled on an online photo of one and that gave me all the info I needed. So now I was on the lookout for one. The name of the toy is the Lunar Expedition, made by Modern Toys, Japan. A handful were located but condition and pricing is everything! You can spend quite a bit for one complete in operating condition or spend half a quite a bit for one missing pieces and non operating. Patience paid off and I did find an operating one just a few years ago with the control rod for a very reasonable amount. Now to get that Hairy Canary I used to have as well! Those are easier to find.
