These tiny little things were found in my recent visit to a charity shop, I found them very intriguing and sweet. They're both made by 'Wade Pottery, England' and depict a horse and a monkey. I looked up Wade pottery online and have unearthed a fascinating rabbit hole where tiny figurines of animals named 'Whimsies' were made dating from the 1950s onwards. Prior to this, I'd never heard of Whimsies and looking them up I now suddenly want a whole cabinet of them...XD
I'm delighted to actually have found and own a pair and in future I will be looking out for more of them, but they do seem to be hard to come by where I live :(
There's also different lines of figurines made, from circus animals to endangered animals and as for these two, I'm not sure what series they're from or even what year they may have been made but if there are any Whimsies experts here on CW, I'd be delighted to know and thanks in advance! :P

Adorable Wade animals they are super cute! So much personality in the little monkey with the skirt, she's my favorite :) Best of luck in finding others

These were free in Tetley Tea for years. I have over 100 of them around here somewhere packed away. Very few have any value but a easy to collect. I got all of mine free.
That's really cool to note fhrjr2, y'know your collection sounds really neat! I'd love to see it posted someday, and being a free giveaway with tea is so cute. :)
