Hello everyone!!
Another item from my boot scraper collection is this cast iron horse boot cleaner brush. For it to be cast iron, it sure was nicely cast. From his flowing mane to his highly detailed face, hooves and tail. Though the brush is worn out from years of use, I still really love this one. I've heard some folks refer to this as antique, but I think it's far from being antique yet. I'm guessing the 1970's. It measures 13 1/2" long, 7 3/4" wide and 8" tall. It weighs only 8lbs. I have repainted this one as it was very rusted when I took ownership of it.
Thanks very much for stopping in to have a look at my horse boot brush!!!
Scott
Majestic black cast iron horse, beautiful pose & my fave of your outstanding animal boot scrapers
Very nice Scott, even though the brush is worn. Looks like a little hedgehog sleeping on his back, :)
Jenni,
Thank you so very much!! I don't have many horses in my collection, but this is one of my favorites as well.
Mike,
Thanks friend!! I hadn't really thought about it, but it does sort of look like a little hedgehog on his back.

Thanks very much for the love and for stopping by!!
Your horse looked familiar to me so I checked my porch. I have the same one....it was on my parents porch for many years before it took up residence here as a doorstop for the screen door.
Hi Watchsearcher,
Yep, these were fairly popular back in the 1970's, but few are still around. I think these were made in many different animal forms, but I like the horse best of all.
Bitsnbobs123,
Thanks so very much for stopping in and loving my boot cleaner brush!!
Thank you Eileen!!
The top brush bristles are worn completely down and quite a few are missing, But that only gives it character.
Really love this!
Thanks vintagelamp!!!
