European tablecloth/tapestry with map and crest

After my MIL passed we found this beautiful map of Europe with crest folded up in a cedar chest. My in laws purchased while my FIL was stationed in Germany. 100% viskose made in Western Germany. I thought it was so beautiful that we sent it over to the framers. I don’t know much about it but having something like this is amazing.
