Am I correct in assuming Pat Pend doesn't always apply to the piece in its entirety, correct? This is a beautiful necklace but I am wondering what these beads are?? They are not plastic and not glass!! Anyone???
This is most interestingly beautiful, I hope somebody can educate us all about it! Are the beads translucent or opaque, I can't quite tell by the photos?
Thanks all for your speedy replies! Something I strive for!! In regards to the bead material. They aren't cold as you feel with glass and they don't have that cheap plastic feel...sorry in my descriptive ineptness!! Is that a word?! As for the opaque or translucency....it might serve you best to click on photos for better/closer viewing. I actually went to their definitions to be correct in my response. As you can see the middle is quite viewable but I will do the flash light test tomorrow to show you that result! Yes these are definitely beautiful!! I have so many beautiful items, most of which are unsigned/ unmarked. Which as I have learned in my early posts here, thanks to Ms Crystal, marks are not the "be all, end all". Recall my Schreiber flower brooch?
Well anythingobscure, im surprised you asked this being as you should be able to tell by the photos that they are translucent! Im still trying to figure these out!
