That is what the sign says, the title that is. To repeat it says "When It Comes to Pumps Nothing Matches Jacuzzi". It does not say vintage sign. It is delightfully rusty and was cheap like me. The sign is 24" x 13" and I had a perfect spot waiting. Had to move the scythe but it wasn't fitting in there anyway. There should be an exciting display of farm tools coming some time.
Now as far as how old this sign is I am thinking it predate Jacuzzi as we know it. The PBR (Patrol Boat River) used these pumps for propulsion so Jacuzzi pumps were around before the jacuzzi. Now for a note on caring for tin signs.
The paint on tin signs can fade in sunlight. If you have a tin sign keep it out of direct sunlight. A porcelain sign will not fade. Those are basically a tin sign with a glass coating instead of paint.
Now to wrap up this post with a closing sentence of some sort.

JACUZZI had a local presence (large factory plant, that is) here until lots of corporate mergers/spinoffs/etc happened rather recently, the history is here:

Whirlpool tubs were always made in CA if I'm reading it correctly, while the Little Rock plant manufactured pumps and various hydraulic equipment.

      COOL SIGN, fortapache!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Thank you very much AO. Interesting article that shows the company was around long before what is known as a Jacuzzi. I would guess the sign is from the late 50s or early 60s.
