Is the color and the spot in the bowl the reflection
or is that the color of the spoon

will put up a better pic but has the town mark and scratched into the underside is 1634 and some writing also these spoons were made between late 1500s to 1600s.
Has traces of gilding and the spoon is now silver colour with appropriate wear for age.
Thanks for your interest was found in New Zealand of all places but our country was was built by the British immigrants that settled here in the 1840s and would have bought there valuables with them including old drinking glasses that you can still find dating back to early 1700s like Firing glasses etc if you know what to look for.

the spot in the middle is the hammered Town mark.
The spoon is marked 1634 and not hard to date as they were made between late 1500s to mid 1600s.
