This is an actual piece of the floor from the St. Peter's Church Hall in Liverpool where John Lennon first met Paul McCartney on Saturday July 6, 1957. The most important meeting in the history of rock"n"roll. Paul had gone to the village fete and saw Lennon and his band, "The Quarrymen" play. Paul went backstage...met John...played "20 Flight Rock" by Eddie Cochran...showed them how to tune a guitar...and then left. Lennon was impressed.....word was sent to McCartney...and he was asked if he wanted to join the group. Paul said "Yes".He joined 2 weeks later....and popular music was changed forever!
