This MV Vellano fan brooch is 2.5" long x 1.5" high, marked on back. This brooch was nicer than I expected. The workmanship is so good, it feels like a high quality piece. This is new old stock, on the original card with a number on back which may be the inventory or model number. I have several pieces by this maker, all critters, and I wanted an example of something else so picked this up.
My phone camera is just not up to the task of getting good resolution images of an object this small, so sorry for the lack of detail in the images.

This is an amazingly detailed little brooch! I wonder is the middle parts black or are the blank and that's the shadow? I love everything about it and it looks like a little stack of cards being shuffled too :)
Thanks for your comments, Eileen. I read that MVV used only the best materials and their workmanship was excellent. I don't know much about jewelry, but their stuff is pretty.
Thanks for your comment LaurenRedmond! The "sticks" I think they are called are individually molded. In the first image, the pin on the back is visible through the spaces between the sticks. It is a pretty well done piece. There is more detail my phone camera will not capture, though.
