What a cute little glass bird!!
You always have the coolest glass animals..
Love his startling red colour, he's the exact sort of colour that reminds me of a cardinal? Isn't that what those little birds are called? We don't have them where I live so I've only seen them in pictures and yours really looks like one, I can definitely imagine him on a branch on a cool grey winters day.
Lovely songbird!! I enjoy hearing the birds singing in the early morning while having my coffee. :- )
Gotta love the red colour !~
Many thanks for the love friends

Thank you Scott for the warm lovely praise, this bird is blushing even redder from your kind compliment!
Dave thank you for that fabulous compliment, I do have rather an abundant glass animal 'zoo' and try to show a variety of colors and species, though the latter can be hard esp with vintage animals - you get a lot of repeaters, but the different colors and shapes make it interesting. I am always on the lookout & have a few coming up that I hope you'll enjoy
Yes Lauren this bird is definitely a bright cardinal red, though this chubby songbird is shaped more like a sparrow (those birds are brown or beige, but their personalities are so lively they're among my favorite wild birds). The red cardinals really do stand out esp in the snow, and they are a winter bird here in the northeastern US. Thanks for your terrific comment as always :)
That's so true FreshAir, the birds are definitely more vocal early in the morning. I used to have a bird call identifier machine so you could learn the various wild bird calls, and found my favorite to be the mournful two note call of the chickadee. Great comment thank you so much for bringing back a nice memory
Phil I love a bright spot of red on my glass animal tower, it seems to enhance the other animals!! I just have one other red glass animal for a future post so thank you for loving this one & your superb comment
BB2 thank you so much for the love and support, always gratefully appreciated and very glad you liked my Fenton glass bird
See? Another very cool colour, that almost jelly red.
Thank you Karen for your super comment & the love, yes agreed the color is quite a jelly red it's so bright. I was glad to find another red animal to add to the 'zoo' and liven it up a little :)
Many thanks Daisy for the thoughtful love for this red glass Fenton bird, I am very grateful for your kind consideration & happy that you liked this
