Chevron Supreme NOS

Not often have I found and bought a NOS sign right out of the original wrapper but this was one! I got it from a friend in Idaho who had owned it for many years before selling it to me. When I got it he unwrapped the original paper to give it to me. Since that time I made the stupid mistake of trading it to another Collector that I thought was a friend in Wyoming who failed to give me the stuff I traded for it after receiving my sign. Finally after over 3 years of waiting and multiple trips to his new home that is a 5 hr drive away, I decided I was over the patience game he was playing and told him I wanted it back and sent a friend that lives near him to go and get it. My friends son just delivered it to me and I find several small chips along the edges as well as a pretty good ding on the top edge where it was obviously dropped by someone who had no idea what the value of it is! At least we got it back where it will be appreciated and put it in the Lakeside Museum. Life is never boring!
