This vase is most likely a test piece and an individual case. They were created as a mutual couple, as can be seen in the second photo on the left. The counterpart is in the historical collection of WMF in Geislingen and was shown as part of an exhibition in the Bröhan Museum. The base glass consists of black glass (colored iron sulfate), which was actually used for the production of "Lavaluna glass". I assume that it was created in this phase (around 1935).
I have not found anything comparable from this manufacture.
Black vases with silver plating are known from Bohemian, these cannot yet be correctly assigned to any manufacturer.
The unusually flat shape stands on a rectangular base plate. The fund was designed with enamel painting and applied silver. A really nice piece of "Art Deco".
The height of the vase is 21.5 cm.
Thank you to all, Merci beaucoup à tous, Dankeschön an alle!
