This is a French plafonnier or abat-jour in Uranium glass which glows nicely under UV light. This type of shade is generally known as "Clichy" glass, I think from the suburb of Paris where it was made, but from no particular factory. It isn't connected to the famous Clichy paperweight manufacturer. It has a rather large diameter of 16" and overall height of 22" and weighs nearly six pounds. Luckily I'm not tall. Date is around 1935.
