    Antique Papier Mache Horseshoe Snuff Box
    The mother-of-pearl insets are the nails for the shoe. Victorians really used the horseshoe image on many decorations signifying good luck.

      Fantastic papier mache! It looks metal ! If you hadn't mentioned mother-of-pearl insets, which are a lovely accent, I would not have noticed. Nice!
