    (1778 items)

Two new 'showcase' items added today! First and foremost, I've noticed its kinda dark out there at nighttime -- so what better thing to add to the rust garden than a RUSTY LAMP?!! ;-) :-) Lots of my neighbors have landscape lighting...but none of 'em have it like I do now?!! <LOLOL>

The lamp came from the cleanout house awhile ago and I showed it already, ever since it's just been collecting dust (more rust?) in the carport stacks of stuff. Came across it again last week and the idea hatched itself, when I remembered/noticed again that gawdawful ugly lamp shade with the plastic bead fringe in the basement (saved from somewhere, but I know not why?) I thought to myself -- PERFECT COMBO! There's a foundation vent right there to feed the cord in under the house...a new socket from another discarded lamp, a flat rock, and 1.5w LED bulb and HERE WE HAVE IT!

Also added, the old zinc organ pipe. Just an odd one that was banging around, kinda interesting because it is mitered (that's what we call it) into a U shape. (so it would fit into a shorter space) Being made of zinc and lead it won't ever rust, but it fills the space next to the lamp nicely... ;-) :-0 :-)

[STRIKE] I left one spot open for an actual nighttime pic to be added shortly, after its actually nighttime here... [/STRIKE]

NEW PIC just added, after dark and after the automatic carport lights calmed down...I was wondering if the (25w equivalent, I think) LED was gonna be too bright, but it seems just fine! ;-) ;-) ;-) :-) ;-) :-)
