Hello I have this vintage necklace and think the oval shaped stones could possibly be jet, it’s old and unusual so hopefully someone will know more about it. The other parts seem to be types of art glass? Again someone might be able to say more

/me sheepishly admitting I don't know what "jet" is, beyond those awful things people have to use at airports...may I have a further clue, Steptoe1?? (or anybody that does know)

Hi anything it’s a type of black stone, well I think it’s a hard fossilised wood which was used in old English jewellery, popular in Victorian time’s I think.
