Pictured here are two Illinois war slogan milk bottles. The bottle on the left is from REITER DAIRY...CHICAGO ILLINOIS. This dairy chose to use a tall round quart bottle with red/blue pyro on both front & back side. A nurse with slogan DO YOUR PART! BUY WAR BONDS & STAMPS is on one side. DRINK MILK FOR HEALTH...FOR SECURITY BUY WAR BONDS is the slogan on the other side. Red & blue stars with lines outline each slogan.
WALNUT GROVE DAIRY...ALTON ILLINOIS chose to utilize the cream top quart style with red pyro only on one side. Even though both bottles have the same nurse slogan, they make great additions to a war slogan collection.
