this is a very old set of antique wavy glass that came with pine wood frame. It is approximately 28 foot tall, I sent it to the stained glass company that repairs stained glasses at the Washington Cathedral in DC , who straightened the pieces that were bent, add pieces of lead channels across all the pieces to strengthen the glass. It also has a center heart piece which my architect suggest we split, and placed it on my landing. From my courtyard, when. one stands one at a certain spot, the heart piece and this main piece comes together . I had my carpenter who built temples in China worked on all the frames of my 40 plus stained glass collection in my home as well as my doors and beams changed to salvaged red oak which came from the Amish folks both in St Mary's County and Lancaster Pennsylvania ( some of the oak beams were 200 years old with worm holes and about 28 feet long). This ensemble is in my LR with Eichinger's' ADRENALING RISING" bronze in the middle .

These panels are *spectacular*, especially in the way you've installed them! <applause> Do you know where they came from, the design suggests a wonderful big old building like a train station/library/hotel or something?? (I bet they had a bunch of maybe smaller siblings at first?)

Well I started collecting stained glass and beveleld crystal glass in 1972 after my husband and I got married. We lived close to DC . Met a young guy who was in college at Georgetown U who goes skiing somewhere , I believe Pennsylvania. Every time he returned, and had stained glass, he would call us and give us the first crack in purchasing what he brought back. There is a 10X10 skylight behind and above it. The curtain for the skylight was closed when I took the picture. This set came in many many pieces but the arch and heart piece had an old pine frame intact. Our architect designed the pieces together , then we sent it to a stained glass artist who installed 16 horizontal rods all across the glass to strengthen them, and the arch, 12 vertical rods with more on the heart piece. I do not know where it came from but I also have a set of antique Rudi Brothers stained glass that came form a church which is incorporated with other antique coal Shute under my 2 other skylights in my porch. Thanks for looking.
