    These were the first scientifically accurate dinosaur and Prehistoric animal set made and I think still the best. They were not painted like the current ones but has it is hard plastic the details are sharper. The newer ones are softer plastic that can move a bit without damaging the paint. Plus I think the painted ones make Triceratops to brightly colored. Large animals are not brightly colored and that is my theory by me. One may note the thick scales on the back of this one which is only a guess but reasonable as that is where a T Rex would bite it.
    I have some of its prehistoric friends with it. Wooly Mammoth, Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Cetiosaurus and Brontosaurus (I refuse to use that other name). All are in the same scale and this is the only series to do so.
    And for those wondering where the cat is.........
