My grandmother gave me this tiny turtle over 65 years ago. I’m sure it was at least 40 years old when she gave it to me. I’ve searched for something like this but have been unsuccessful. Any ideas?

Obviously, you didn't feed it after she gave it to you. Welcome to CyberAsylum, aka CW.

You didn't mention what material it is made of?? I will give you a suggestion. I had a number of small animals like this still in their wrappers which I sent to my son. The ones I had were very detailed and hand carved. They were produced in a town outside a marble quarry in Ireland. You may need to get out of a US search and head overseas.

It appears more like alabaster. Light will pass through alabaster. I would have thought almost like the grand tours of Europe had trinkits for sale.
