SPRIGGS DAIRY...BLOOMINGTON INDIANA embossed cream top WAR SLOGAN milk bottle

Pictured here is a pint embossed cream top from SPRIGGS DAIRY...BLOOMINGTON INDIANA. Inside the front slug plate is "BUY WAR BONDS TODAY"...SPRIGGS DAIRY PRODUCTS INC... BLOOMINGTON INDIANA. Very few dairies used embossed war slogans & opted to use the more colorful pyro versions to relay the war messages. I haven't seen other cream top styles used with embossed war slogans on them. These bottles have been found mainly in this pint size with a few 1/2 pint sizes discovered. To my knowledge, a quart size version has never been located.
