I have a Pepsi cooler I dont know much about it and would like some information on it. This unit was found in a storage room of a church in Pennsylvania. As you can see it is in unrestored condition. I cannot find any dates or tags on it to tell me the age of this piece. I do know that it is a QuiKold cooler made by I think S&S Products Inc. Lima, Ohio. I tried to google them and can't seem to find any information about them. I would like to know what it is worth in its current condition and what it would be worth if restored to original condition. This piece is in current operating condition. When plugged in it does turn on and the compressor does cycle, the fan turns and it does get cool. I didn't run it for long but it started to get cool after just 10 minutes of being plugged in. It has a bottle opener on the front with a removable catch bin. So I know that it was made for use before twist caps came around.(Whenever that was?) The logos on the front right and left sides are stamped into the metal so the letters are raised. If it is worth restoring I would also like to know where I could possibly get the vent door that goes on the front bottom of this unit. I know that it is missing because I have seen pictures of other units that are similar to this one and they have a vent door on them. The other units I saw were from the 50's if the people were honest about what they have. As I said I don't know enough about them to say. I hope you enjoyed the pics and look forward to any information you may be able to give me.
