Picked up this pedal car from the trash. The only thing I know about it is what I seen on the internet: New Limited Edition Ford Model-T Roadster Pedal CarOfficially licensed by Ford Motor Company! It features a padded seat, functional steering wheel, old-fashioned horn and an adjustable windshield. It also has gold chrome working headlights (2 size D batteries), hubcaps and bumper. This exquisite machine comes with working headlights, full running boards, gold chrome tire guards, and gold pin striping with a powder coat of midnight black; all riding on treaded, solid rubber gold-wall tires and brown padded seat cushion. Well, I'd say finding 200-300 dollars in the trash ain't so bad!! Sweet little car! Now why would anyone throw that away...some people... :O
Hi I have just acquired ( April 2015 ) one of these limited edition (1620 of 2999 ) Gold & Black Pedal Cars in similar condition ( Windshield & Supports missing, Headlamp missing, 3 Wheel Center Caps missing and all nuts & screws rusty )
An e-Bay (UK) bargain at the unbelievable price of £53 ( what's that $100 us )
As for the age all I have discovered so far is that this Pedal Car was issued in 2008.
All we need to do now is to find the other 2997 ???
