Here are four versions of a Vintage Art Nouveau style pottery tankard. Titled “Paradise” it shows a Biblical scene of Adam cradling Eve while the serpent is above encircling the handle. 7 7/8" Tall x 6 1/2" x 5" diameter. I have found a total of six of these so far.
(It looks like they originally had lids.) They have all been apparently hand glazed/decorated by different artists. Two are signed by different people. One is dated 1962. I own the solid green one but eventually found the others by searching the internet. So far I have no information about who made the vases, who decorated them, or under what circumstances were they decorated. I am an educator and my guess is that these were part of an art activity conducted by a Christian religious organization and the participants were adults or young adults. If you know anything about these, please let me know.

You probably know then about whiteware and greenware ?? These were sold then decorated and then kiln glazed probably in classes. Some were done with classes of people doing them. I used to buy from a whiteware shop and also went in to the greenware shop to look around !~ The whiteware shop I loved all the different ones they had of their models.

Thanks Phil! That’s what I was thinking it was. Appreciate the perspective.
