From my last visit to the charity shop, these were together in a little bundle- a family of three dolphins, mum, dad and tiny baby which is the cutest and a really colorful sculpture of a tropical fish which I've never seen one before so of course took it. It kinda reminds me of those angelfish except the fins aren't quiet as long or tall I think?
The dolphin family are I believe made out of carved soapstone, that really creamy light orange flecked variety(at least I'm certain it's soapstone!) as it's very hard, dense and really cool and smooth to touch so I'd safely say it is and the little fish just seems to be some kind of pottery.
The Dolphin family have also been dutifully named- Bubble, Squeak and Squirtle(baby being Squirtle of course! :P) Tropical Fish hasn't got a name yet but maybe he or she should be 'Angel!'

Super beautiful fish group, what a lovely display! The soapstone dolphins have such pretty carved accents, and that colorful striped tropical fish is gorgeous - all of them are fabulous & have really cute names :)
Thank you so much Newfld and yes I think so too! Their simplistic style is really plain but definitely suits them!
