    Inherited this lamp in the early 1980's and it was old then. I don't think it is Tiffany. The markings on the bottom say "195 or 95 with a star. Wondering if anyone recognizes this marking.

      You are correct, not a tiffany.

      While it doesn't have the quality of a top maker, it still looks good.

      A photo of the socket without shade and the plug, may reveal some "no earlier" information. Of course both could have been replaced at some time.
