    Have 2 small German tea cups enclosed in metal, but unable to read the information and hope someone can tell me what they are.

      were, You're allowed up to four pictures per post. Perhaps you could show more views of these items?

      I'm not sure what makes you say they're German tea cups, because all I can see right now is possibly some British ceramic (Aynsley's), and Canadian metal (Birks).

      Although, that china mark of "Aynsley's," as opposed to "Aynsley" is a bit suspect.

      FYI, Birks also made ramekin holders, but it's a bit difficult to tell exactly what you have from the single picture.

      Here are some Birks silver marks (however, I don't see anything on your holders to indicate that they're sterling):
