What a Great Book to Have, just holding something this Old that is Paper and still readable, and not a Religious Book, I Have Much Older Books but they are Bibles, Foreign Language, or Religious Writings. This is Published in Early United States Of America, in English. Each Page of the 696 page Book was Printed with a Printing Press. Incredible to me, the Work that went into making this Sheep Skin Covered Book, no wonder only the Wealthy own these! Yes I Really Like This Book! :^D

Hey bb2, I couldn't really find anything on St. Martin, it could be the time that it was the United States didn't want to favor the French, or the Dutch as in control of the Island so didn't even list it on the Maps or who Claimed it, maybe because They had interest in claiming also? I'll post three photos, two from the Maps of the area, and the other the Countries Claiming the Islands in the Area from the Book! Thanks bb2! :^)
That would be interesting to see, Bill. When this was published, the Islands of Saba, St. Maarten/St. Martin and St. Eustatius were changing hands so many times that it was hard to keep up with. Statia (St. Eustatius) surrendered 22 times without firing a shot (not counting the time they surrendered to me). Until recently, Statia thought their flag was all white.
Thanks bb2, what I found is Posted! :^)
