The second vase from my recent job lot purchase, this is a well - known piece by Kralik in their popular mother of pearl glass.
It is made from two layers of glass - translucent over opaque white, with a pearly iridescent finish. The vase measures 11 cm tall, 10.5 cm across the top rim, & approximately 55 cm in girth.
There are three applied ribbed claw feet in dark green, & each lobe is decorated with raised enamel decoration.
Sadly, it is lacking a brass frog (where are they all?) & thus the chipping on the top rim is plain to see.
Nonetheless, a fine & classic example of this type of glass!
Lovely and interesting!
I love the way they do these feet!
Many thanks vintagelamp!
Thanks also, Bernard!
a master piece, that combination of deep green with pearl white reminds me to a Lilium candidum
I love the feet and decoration on this one Marin!
Many thanks, kivatinitz!
Thanks also, Michelle!
