Not sure who made this “Quick Test”
I opened it up and I see an Astro Tran 18 140B.
8832-961. Is there another part to this?

A very cool find you have there!! The only other thing that would have been with it is a list of 'tube types' and which socket/settings to test them in. A couple observations...Astro-Tran is simply the name (and part number) of the maker of that transformer. (the black thing the name is on) I found a reference showing them active in 1961, which (to me) seems in keeping with all the rest of the components, not older anyway. About those components, what I find most curious is that several of the tube sockets (pic 2) are not actually connected to anything at all...that's kinda strange...? Quick-Test might be the only 'maker's name' you'll be able to find for the tester unless there's another label or something on it, that wouldn't have been the name of whoever made just the meter itself. Perhaps this was actually somebody's 'do-it-yourself kit' project, it really doesn't look 'factory made'??
Isn't there a name to the left of quick test? Can't zoom enough to see?
Looks similar to Mercury
