Haven't picked up any radios of late but I am partial to the Zenith Owl Eyes clock radios. The clock on it works, the radio I am not sure about but the tubes light up as can be seen in fuzzy photo four.
Looks like the full model name is Model G516 Ch= 5G03. It was also available in white and some variation in the dial and clock colors. Dimensions are 11.4 x 5.9 x 5.3 inch.
The case is Bakelite which is typical for 1950.
Plenty more interesting items to come including a can of DDT.

Fabulous vintage Zenith clock, such a cool design & love seeing their old logo which reminds me of the ones on older cars

Wonderful old Zenith!! If you haven't done so already, please re-seat those tubes in the back row that are coming out of their sockets -- just gently push them back down towards the chassis so their pins aren't showing. You apparently already got lucky and passed the 'smoke test' by plugging it in, so it would probably be a good candidate for actual restoration-- have its capacitors replaced and it'll be good to go for another 70 yrs!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
(I wonder if we'll even *have* AM radio by then...??)
