I have attached a photo of what I believe are 2 original WWII proofs. They were given to the owner of the company I work for as a gift from the Jam Handy Advertising Agency in Detroit. They appear to be pastel on Cresent board. I found several articles online tha said that they produced training for the Gunners from 1942-45.
I have additional photos if they are needed. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. They are approximately 24"x30" and framed.
Thanks for any information that you can offer.
They are really nice. Any idea on the artist-- any markings on the back?
The orginal artwork for WW2 posters is highly collectable.
Artwork for known patriotic posters will bring significant money. These are very desirable by collectors as well.

They are believed to be created by the Jam Handy Advertising Agency in Detroit. Both are framed and have a backing sheet. I don't see any type of signature on the front.
What mystery are you looking to solve?
It is hard to tell if they are original artwork based on the photographs posted. Close up photographs MAY reveal if they are original art.
If not original art they would still have value, but less than the actual artwork.

I just added 3 more photos. I am shooting the pictures through the frame. The art has a clear plastic over the art.
It is hard to tell from your photographs.
A good sign is the lines to ensure that the lettering is correctly lined up. It is typical on original artwork-- it is found on most of mine.
These lines would not be seen on a poster or "final product".

Any thoughts on how to estimate a value for the two?
I would estimate about $350- $600 as a pair.
