    Hi seems such a long time since i was on here last with Lock Downs Travel Bands etc etc the thing is we are still here , and here in my part of the UK the car boots have been running for serval weeks now. It was at my secound car boot localy while walking around i found this Chinise/Japanise Blue and White Vase in nice condition sadly it does have a hair line crack in the neck see picture .I could really do with a translation of the makers mark to the base any help would be greatly aappreciated Thankyou .

      i don,t know what to think , so i am not a much of a help here

      this is a kangxi abbreviated mark , you have to rotate this the 4 dots symbol which is now left above , must be right under = kangzhi nian zhi

      this combination is a kind of bogus because they are committed to imperial were

      4 dots combinations without double cirkel and garlands are always never old , this combination is a sort of guangxu period invention generally 1870 - fin de siecle

      so we could be committed to what is called kangxi revival period

      but are we shanghaided here ,the bottom looks promising gas escape rupture , but without corrosion , and the front got corrosion pinholes

      but is does not seem revival blue to me and the color of the glazing is thin, it got some age but i don,t think it is kangxi revival its probably later , sorry it are just assumptions

      The marks in photo 1 are upside down.
