This is super heavy-duty and sturdy. Any idea how old or what it is. I can't find any identifying markers. Nice rocker.

My Grandmother had a rocker not totally unlike that one, sadly nobody else knew how much I loved (and wanted!) that chair, so it got away during a house auction I wasn't able to attend when Grandma and Grampa moved.
Other real experts here will prolly be able to offer better info, but I'd guess it to be from the roughly 'craftsman' style period maybe 1920's...its upholstery likely newer if it is like Grandma's that got new seatcovering every decade or so of its life. A GREAT old chair!! :-) :-) :-) ;-) :-)
