I’ve search the internet to the best of my ability and simply cannot locate the potter or company listed FGG ??. Can anyone help?

That cross after the initials must have some significance…..maybe some religious order.
Any chance it could be (part of) a lamp base instead?
Would u please add 2 more pictures? You are allowed 4 total. The top showing the opening and any part of the interior would be nice, and a picture of the other side of it. :-)
I think I know the process of >how< it was made…..but >why< or >who made it<…..i dunno.
Also its size(s) please -- it looks like it might be 4-5" across the base???
