Purchased about 25 years ago from watch dealer in Birmingham city centre, he dated it to 1969 from the serial number on face of watch in lower section, it has since then stops and starts , runs for about 5 minutes then stops , starts again if shaken.

I have been given my Grandad's Mercury calender It had been stored for at least 40 years I managed to get it going with a little bit of gentle persuasion The V-conic movement might have been low-cost but it is definitely robust
