My Aunt Mary gave me this album
from her collection over 40 years ago.
It was the first I ever saw of Crumb's work -
long before I saw his underground comix
      and I loved it!
      -
      And I can't believe that
      for all these years
      I missed spotting
Mr. Natural and Flakey Foont in the crowd!
      -
"What does it all mean, Mr. Natural?"

      I saw the album cover
when she first bought it in 1968
and would look at it every Sunday when we visited.
