This red and yellow glass compote was given to me by the owner of an antique store when I admired it after my mom and I had purchased several pieces of furniture from him about 25 years ago.

I love flashy colors so this stays on my kitchen counter to hold tomatoes.
It’s about 7.5” tall with an opening of about 6.5”.
    The foot is 4.5” wide.
There’s a mold line around the base.
The red and yellow glass has a frosted appearance.

I don’t expect it has any special value besides the sentimental value reminding me of the very elderly gentleman who gave it to me and memories of shopping there with my mom.
I would like to learn what company made it, and when, so I can pass that info on down the line after I’m gone.

Thank you, PhilDMorris! You are so kind with your compliments. The gardens are suffering some with this heat and I’m a bit wilted myself! I hope it’s more pleasant where you are.

Thank you so much for loving my ‘tomato compote’ and confirming that tomatoes lose flavor when refrigerated. The absolute most tasty ones are right off the vine and still warm from the sun
