The Sessions clock didn't have a back on it so I didn't know the model or age, it did have a layer of dust. With the Lux I was lucky and found one on Ebay for sale with all the pictures and I now know that it had an ash tray at one point and time. This Bulova Desktop alarm clock is solid Brass and working great, I haven't found much information on it yet and would greatly appreciate any you might have, Thank you I added what appears to me to be a clock made by New Heaven Clock company, The only thing I know is it seems to have an alar clock that does go off, any info would be greatly appreciated

Hello MAcowan. Welcome to Collectors Weekly: Clocks! I believe that you have a model that Sessions called "Ideal" from circa 1910. It originally listed for $8.00. Adjust for inflation, the equivalent of about $230 in 2021. So, a nice little enamelled wood mantel clock in its day and certainly not inexpensive. These clocks were like small household appliances. They were fairly accurate for mass produced mechanical clocks, usually keeping accurate time to within a few minutes per week. Of course they needed to be rewound and adjusted once per week. Keep in mind that they are little machines with many moving parts. If you plan to operate them, they do require periodic maintenance and repair. Their mainsprings can store a lot of energy which, if suddenly released through some mechanical failure, can cause damage and injury to the clock and to you.
Sorry, I can't help you with the Lux model. They both look nice and in pretty good condition at first glance. Of course, the devil can often be found in the details.
Thanks for sharing your finds with us.
