I'm just looking for any information I can get on this clock. It's for a older friend that grew up with it in the home as a child. Anything at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Smfaa1975.

      Hi,
      Welcome to Collectors Weekly, Clocks.
The style of your clock is called a Short Drop Octagon Wall Clock. They are also popularly known as School House Clocks. They were relatively inexpensive, could be accurate, and were often seen in schools.
I don't see any winding arbors on your clock's face. How is it powered? Is there a battery/batteries involved? Is there anything stamped or printed on the movement? Someone manufactured this for Sears. I would need more information on the movement before I could hazard a guess as to who and when.
