It's a bit scary, this bracelet with a lot of teeth on it. I don't know which animal the teeth come from. I thought of snake teeth? The clasp is made of silver and is hallmarked with 830S. I thought it could be native american? Might be african as well? But more because of the pearls. Can someone tell me what it is? And if it's snake teeth, does it have any meaning? Or did someone just not like snakes?

Oh dear! I hope those were not removed from dogs which were used for human consumption…but where would many dog teeth come from?

Why are hot dogs called hot dogs?
      (please help I'm a vegetarian)

Germans called their dish 'dachshund sausages' or 'little dog', thus connecting the term 'dog' to the hot dog.

I'm german and had a short search and it seems that you are right. Even we normally call them Frankfurter Würstchen, Wiener Würstchen, Bockwurst or Knackwürstchen nowadays, it seems that they have been called Dackelwurst around 1850. It is possible that the term Dackelwurst still might be known and used in Frankfurt. I don't know at all. Might be a forgotten word

But it might be just a myth as well
