The glass just shimmers along this gorgeous owl's bod, beautiful !~
I love how you know so much about your collection items, Jenni.
Oooh I think that's a tawny owl right there?! I love him, both his colour and the fact he's FABULOUS, his pose is realistic and looks very alert. I think he's sitting up on some fence post or branch, hearing the scuttling's of mice in the undergrowth....
With thanks to you all for the love

Phil thank you for your super praise for this golden glass owl, it does have alot of sculpting all around that really catches the light reflections
Thanks so much Daisy for your fab compliment, with most American art glass animals the answer is easy - I have two excellent illustrated glass animal books which often show maker, yr & sometimes item no. I also refer to older catalog reprints which are very helpful. Thanks for asking!
Thank you Lauren for your awesome comment, as always I adore your imaginative take on my animals you're amazing! With those huge round eyes I can certainly see the tawny owl comparison, he does have a very alert pose and is most probably eying prey like little mice - we tend to forget that owls are in the predatory bird family along with hawks, eagles etc which is one reason I always kept my bird feeders under trees for protection :)
Thank you Cokeman for the love for this Mosser glass owl, I'm very glad you liked it & grateful for your kind support
Many thanks Bruce for the love of this Mosser owl, so pleased that you liked it and appreciate your kind consideration
