This one likely isn't nearly as old as the others just shown, maybe 1950's-60's by my guess. It is a BLACK ANGUS SERIES 950 and has reversible clip-in waffle or griddle plates, one side of each in pic 1. Its lid has a handle allowing it to sit open when the griddles are being used, and it also has a sight jewel that would showandglow when its heater elements are on. Underwriter's Laboratories Listed, even!! :-) :-) :-)
The stamped info on its bottom (pic 4) shows it to be SERIES-950 made by S. C. EL. U.S.A. (whoever that is?) and includes the curious CAUTION warning (that I'm more used to seeing on older electric kitchen devices) to USE WITH WALL OR BASE RECEPTICAL ONLY. Why the word RECEPTICAL is not spelled RECEPTACLE I do not know...??
Its detachable cord has also gone missing so I didn't bother to test it when otherwise not cleaning it either... ;-) ...but it is a rather standard pin pattern for kitchen electrics so I'm sure I could find another cord for it if I wanted to, either laying around here somewhere already or at most any handy Goodwill store.. ;-) :-) :-)
Finally, someone made removable plates!
