Simplon vintage compass drawing office equipment.

I bought this cheap from one of the market stalls in the old bull ring shopping centre in the 1970s , I used one at school in the technical drawing class in the early 1960s , don’t know the year made , stall holder said early 1950s a big worn and parts missing.
