Taxidermy Tuesday A Bear Skin Rug I will Call It George

Every log cabin requires a bear skin rug. It is in the zoning laws. This is a black bear which is the most common type of bear. Despite not being the most skilled hunters they are highly successful. Pretty much they eat anything other than grass and leaves. We have them up and they don't cayuse much trouble aside from getting into bear proof trash containers. Anyway I didn't do anything to this bear it came this way. Probably average size for a black bear I think it is about five feet long. The pelt is very heavy with thick fur and thick skin. The front paws with claws and pads are still there. The head is mostly intact but no fake mouth with teeth and tongue.
Handling this is pretty interesting. It is about as close to a bear as I am going to get.
